Spanning the globe: Office Olympics

Some workplaces do rope courses and trust falls. Every year Snaggers look forward to Snagajob's Office Olympics, where Snaggers across different departments form teams, wave the flag of a country of their choosing (the United States is off limits) and go all out as we participate in competitive frivolity during the lunch hour. The games are kicked off with an opening ceremony, in which teams celebrates the culture of their represented country. Argentina, Belize, Egypt and Jamaica were among those represented this year.

The competition was fierce this year as several events came down to tie-breakers, stare-offs (seriously) and shootouts. The events included paper basketball, human curling, synchronized chair dancing, a hotdog eating contest, a staring contest and the Snagger favorite, chair soccer tournament. North Korea started slow but made a surprise comeback from last place, stealing the silver medal from Egypt, who ended with bronze. Ultimately, Canada hoisted the gold with their strong performance throughout the games.
