SnagAJob.com's leaders have held titles like Attorney, VP of Sales and Founding Principal -- as well as stock boy, sales clerk, pipe fitter and janitor.

Shawn Boyer, President & CEO
Shawn Boyer founded SnagAJob.com in 1999, and since then, he has taken the company from being a start-up to the nation's largest part-time and hourly job-posting site. In 2008, Shawn was named the nation's Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. That same year, he also saw one of his most ambitious goals for the company come true when SnagAJob.com was named a Best Small & Medium Company to Work for in America.
Prior to starting SnagAJob, this big thinker and passionate leader was actually a transactional attorney for Brown & Wood LLP (now Sidley Austin, LLP) and Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, LLP. He holds a Master of Law in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
Aside from mowing lawns in middle school, Shawn's first hourly job was in a retail store in his sophomore year in high school. "From day one, that job taught me that the customer is absolutely the organization's lifeblood, that they drive the business, and that you need to bend over backwards to wow them." That same philosophy is embraced throughout SnagAJob.com today.

Dave Bosher, Finance
Dave Bosher believes that the role of his department goes well beyond taking care of the company finances. That is why SnagAJob's finance team also arms clients with the financial data they need for effective decision-making. They also serve as business advisors to all of SnagAJob's associates, and get directly involved in customer service.
This holistic approach is just one reason Dave was named 2008 CFO of the Year for Best Small Private Company by Virginia Business Magazine.
Dave Bosher came to SnagAJob.com in August 2006. Before joining the company, he was the CFO of Payerpath, Inc., the leading processor of Internet-based healthcare claims in the United States. Prior to Payerpath, Dave served as Senior VP and CFO of Cadmus Communications Corporation, a leading content management and graphic communications company with annual revenues of $450 million. At Cadmus, he played a key role in multiple strategic acquisitions, leading the financing of the acquisition of two of the company's largest competitors. Earlier in his career, Dave was an equity research analyst with Davenport & Company, and he was also Director of Accounting for A. H. Robins Company, Inc., an international Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company.
Dave holds a BS in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Richmond, and he's also a CPA. He began his working life as a pipe fitter's helper. His father earned hourly wages for his entire career as an electrician.

Michele Azan, Advertising Sales
Want to talk to millions of young, motivated and multicultural consumers? Talk to Michele Azan first.
As Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales, Michele leads a nationwide sales team that offers advertising opportunities including demographic targeting, email marketing, sponsorship and lead generation. With almost 4.5 million monthly unique users (comScore), SnagAJob.com gives brand marketers an exceptional opportunity to reach an audience of highly engaged, young and diverse consumers.
"Our audience represents a prime, typically hard-to-reach demographic for advertisers and SnagAJob.com offers a rare opportunity to speak to them in an uncluttered environment," Michele says. "I like to call them our multi-tasking audience of 'do-ers.' They register, enroll, click, opt in, subscribe, purchase and interact with advertisers' messages in measurable ways."
For eight years, Michele was Vice President of Sales for global Internet media company Terra Networks, the U.S. division of Terra Networks, S.A. Before joining Terra, Michele worked for Univision Communications in New York City.
Michele holds a master's degree from Barry University. She is a founding member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Hispanic Committee and a board member of the IAB Sales Council. Her first hourly job was as an incredibly efficient cashier at McDonald's.

Cathy McCarthy, Marketing
The more hourly job seekers who know about SnagAJob.com, the more people who can land great jobs and live more fulfilling lives. Cathy McCarthy and her team focus on getting the word out about the great opportunities awaiting America's hourly workers when they visit SnagAJob.com and see how easy it is to use the website. In a small window during the end of 2008, Cathy stewarded positive exposure for SnagAJob.com on all three network morning shows: "Today," "The Early Show" and "Good Morning America."
Cathy gets a lot of personal fulfillment from reading the "I got a job" emails, in which satisfied job seekers tell SnagAJob.com how their new jobs have positively impacted their lives. And she had the chance to read more of these emails than ever as SnagAJob.com far exceeded its 2008 Campaign to Hire America goal of connecting more than 400,000 of America's hourly job seekers with the best of the best employers.
Cathy came to SnagAJob.com in September of 2007. Before joining the company, she served in various leadership roles at Circuit City Stores and circuitcity.com, including VP of Customer Strategy and VP of Direct Marketing. Prior to Circuit City, Cathy worked in the Change Management practice of Accenture in both Europe and the United States.
Cathy holds an MBA from the Darden School and a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Virginia. Her first hourly job was taking care of plants at a garden center and occasionally getting to drive the dump truck to deliver mulch.

Greg Moyer, People
Ask Greg Moyer about his position in human resources, and you'll get a good idea of the culture at SnagAJob. "I never liked the term human resources," says Greg. "It seems too impersonal and just doesn't capture what we're all about. Instead, we call ourselves Snagger Services -- and our mission is to lead the way in creating a great place to work that attracts top talent and brings out the best in every Snagger."
Greg realized that mission quite literally in 2008 when SnagAJob.com was named a Best Small & Medium Company to Work for in America by the Great Place to Work Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management. On the local stage, Greg has watched the company garner several employer of choice accolades, including being named the 2008 Greater Richmond Area Employer of Choice, winning the 2008 Greater Richmond Technology Council Community Support Award, and taking home the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce's HYPE Award, which honors companies' commitments to young professionals in the workplace.
Greg Moyer came to SnagAJob.com in November 2006 from PeoplePoint, a technology-focused human capital consulting firm that he launched in 2001. Prior to PeoplePoint, Greg was the Senior VP of Human Resources at the 5,000-employee Cadmus Communications -- and before that, he was the Corporate VP of HR for an information technology firm with more than 20,000 employees. While most of his career has been in human resources, Greg also served as a Public School Administrator and teacher early in his career. He holds an MS with honors from Temple University, and a BS with honors from Elizabethtown College.
Greg started working at age 14, as a stock boy in a men's clothing store in Pottstown, PA.

Amanda Richardson, Product
Innovation, simplicity, and creation are what our product team is all about. At the helm of this solution focused group is Amanda Richardson. She came to SnagAJob.com in September of 2008 and hit the ground running, non-stop we might add, leading the way in our long-term site planning, product initiatives and strategic corporate partnerships.
No problem is too big or too small for her team to tackle but make no mistake about it; product isn't just about solving existing site concerns. "I strive to anticipate needs and make things easier for all of our users - seekers and employers alike". This forward thinking attitude is one of the reasons that both job seekers and employers return to our site over and over again.
She says her favorite thing about SnagAJob.com is how employees here truly live the company values. "It's not just a catchphrase here; my co-workers really do take the values to heart." Her favorite part of the job, no surprise to those who know her, is creating a better job seeker experience. "They really are why we work as hard as we do in product. Keeping our job seekers happy is job number one and is the most important thing that we do – period."
Amanda is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Before SnagAJob.com, she was the Director of Solutions Management at Eclipsys, a hospital software company and an analyst at Blue Ridge Capital. Her first hourly job was stocking movies at Blockbuster.

Wei Wang, Technology
Wei has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He has been a chief designer and architect of enterprise software solutions for some of the world's leading technology firms. And SnagAJob.com is extremely fortunate to have Wei Wang at the helm of its technology, since that is, in many ways, what drives the company.
Even though Wei is in charge of technology, his philosophy focuses on the human side of business. "I believe that people are our best asset, and my duty is to create a scalable organization to maximize everyone's potential and to allow each person to live a more fulfilling life."
Prior to joining SnagAJob, Wei was a Director of Engineering for Yahoo! Inc. There, he was in charge of all aspects of managing the Yahoo! Personals engineering team, including product development and production operations. Wei was also the Senior Manager of Software Development for the DoubleClick AdServer, an enterprise solution suite for online interactive advertising delivery and management. He was a Senior Software Engineer for Rational Software (now IBM), and earlier in his career, he was a member of the technical staff of Oracle Corporation.
Along with his MS from MIT, Wei has a BS in both Computer Science and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee (Magna Cum Laude and with honors, of course.) Wei worked his first hourly job in a university cafeteria.
