Greg Moyer

SVP, Chief People Officer

Whatever you do, don’t call Greg an HR guy.

"I never liked the term 'human resources,'" says Greg, Chief People Officer. "It seems too impersonal and just doesn't capture what we're all about. Instead, we call ourselves Snagger Services -- and our mission is to lead the way in creating a great place to work that attracts top talent and brings out the best in every Snagger."

Okay, so we won’t call it HR.

Ask Greg and he’ll tell you his job is to assemble a group of exceptionally passionate people who can round up the best talent, allowing Snagajob to realize its potential.  But that’s only half of the job.  As Head of Snagger Services, Greg wants to build a culture and environment that blurs the lines between life inside and outside of work by creating a place that people are excited to be a part of.  Most people don’t have best friends, happy hours or play games at work, that is, unless they’re Snaggers.  So for Greg, that means staying a small company forever – not in the number of employees or the size of the building, but in spirit.

When Greg's not busy building Snaggertopia, he’s recounting stories about how he convinced his wife Marie to let them fill in their exceptionally large pool to make it a garden so he can plant and design topiaries (true story).  Since the soil in Richmond isn’t as fertile as in his native Pennsylvania, Greg spends most of his time oil painting what he calls “decorative art” for his home and playing an endless game of catch with his labradoodle, Ollie.  Aside from creating masterpieces on canvas and shrubbery, he loves spending time with his son Adam and his daughter Andrea and her family, which includes his grandsons Charlie and Luke.
