HomeGoods, a chain of off-price home fashions stores, operated 182 stores at 2003's year-end. HomeGoods offers an exciting and rapidly changing selection of home décor merchandise, including furniture, giftware, rugs, bed and bath accessories, lamps and seasonal merchandise at great values. This chain operates in a stand-alone and superstore format. The superstores couple HomeGoods with T.J. Maxx or Marshalls and are called T.J. Maxx ‘N More and Marshalls Mega-Stores. Stand-alone HomeGoods stores average approximately 28,000 square feet. HomeGoods is rolling out aggressively throughout the U.S., expanding our presence in the growing home fashions market. Ultimately, we believe HomeGoods could be a 500-store chain, with an additional 150 superstores.
