Three ways to get a holiday job

We’ve got some bad news for you. It’s going to be tougher than ever to snag a seasonal job this year. We surveyed more than 1,000 hiring managers and they told us that on average, they each plan to hire about three seasonal employees. That’s a 16 percent drop from last year. So how can you make sure you’re one of the three people they hire?

Smile till your face hurts. A positive attitude is the number one thing most hiring managers look for.

Be flexible. Most seasonal cashier jobs require you to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
