Three ways to get a holiday job
We’ve got some bad news for you. It’s going to be tougher than ever to snag a seasonal job this year. We surveyed more than 1,000 hiring managers and they told us that on average, they each plan to hire about
three seasonal employees. That’s a 16 percent drop from last year. So how can you make sure you’re one of the three people they hire?
Smile till your face hurts. A positive attitude is the number one thing most hiring managers look for.
Be flexible. Most seasonal cashier jobs require you to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Apply everywhere. Apply to the big stores – Toys “R” Us is hiring 35,000
