On Veterans Day, we take the time to give thanks to all the military veterans who have dedicated themselves to defending our country. Expressing any and all gratitude for their services is the least we can do, so various franchises across America are presenting special offers to active, inactive and retired military personnel. Below is just a small sampling of how different restaurants are saying thanks to veterans this year.
- Jersey Mike’s is holding their fourth annual awareness and fundraising campaign for Wreaths Across America (WAA), an organization dedicated to placing remembrance wreaths on the headstones of veterans across the country. Franchise locations will have special menus, chances to donate directly and Veterans Day weekend offers to encourage customers to participate.
- Tim Hortons and Krispy Kreme are offering veterans free doughnuts to visiting Veterans on November 11; Krispy Kreme will be offering a free cup of coffee as well.
- Proof of military status can get all veterans and active military personnel a free order of Crazy Bread from participating Little Ceasars on Veteran’s Day.
So today, remember to take the time to say thank you to those who have served our country, and those continuing to do so today. Click here for a complete list of restaurants offering special deals for the holiday. Happy Veterans Day!
