Do you have any employees who head to band practice once their shift ends? Or maybe an employee who’s working part-time until they finally get their big break? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then make sure those aspiring stars sign up for The Hourly Gig!
We’re excited to announce the second year of the The Hourly Gig, an online video contest that gives job seekers and hourly employees the chance to share their talents and fulfill their dreams of being on stage.
Through August 23, we’re accepting video submissions of original musical performances from solo acts, bands, pretty much anyone who is passionate about their music. The best videos will be voted on by the public and the grand prize winner will be brought to Richmond, Va., to perform for thousands as the opening band for the Montgomery Gentry Innsbrook After Hours concert on Sept. 19, 2013, at the Snagajob Pavilion.
This contest is open to artists all over the country, so get the word out to your employees about this once in a lifetime opportunity. Who knows? You could have the next singing sensation working the cash register right now…
