Snagajob, America’s largest hourly employment marketplace for job seekers and employers, was recognized at the 18th Annual Richmond Technology Awards Gala in the Innovation in Development category for its work to develop ReadyHire, a hiring solution that helps employers recruit in hard-to-fill hiring scenarios faster and at a lower cost per hire than other recruiting methods.

The Innovation in Development Award is given to an organization whose development of new technology systems or solutions creates beneficial processes, methodologies, and/or services.

“ReadyHire changes the way businesses achieve difficult hiring goals,” said Christian Idiodi, ReadyHire general manager. “If a business is having a hard time recruiting for a position, getting applicants in a particular geography or making a large number of hires in short amount of time, ReadyHire eases the burden. We take on the complicated and time-consuming work of recruiting, screening and scheduling qualified job seeker interviews so managers only have to focus on making the hiring decision.”

Launched in January of this year, the ReadyHire solution has proven to be a successful approach to hard-to-fill recruiting situations for some of the most respected brands across the restaurant and retail industries. Twenty-eight companies to date have taken advantage of the new hiring approach and more than 2,000 job seekers have received an offer or started a job through ReadyHire.
