Service Industry Experts Gather for HourMinds 2017
Founders of Shake Shack and Care.com to Keynote Snagajob’s Annual Conference

The event brings together nearly 300 franchise and corporate executives, directors, operators and hiring managers from across the services sector to share successes and challenges and build action plans that address critical employment needs.
Danny Meyer, CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group and Founder of Shake Shack, will serve as opening keynote for this year’s event. Meyer, one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People and bestselling author of Setting the Table, will discuss the importance of hospitality for any business and how to achieve success by putting people first. Sheila Lirio Marcelo, Founder, Chairwoman and CEO of Care.com, the world’s largest online destination for finding and managing family care, will provide the closing keynote address where she will discuss the changing role for employers in providing meaningful employee benefits to attract and retain hourly workers.
Eric Chester, award-winning speaker and best-selling author, and Samir Goel, Business Leadership Program Associate at LinkedIn, will serve as featured speakers. Chester will discuss how to ignite passion and prevent burnout by creating a culture that inspires employees to work harder, perform better, and stay longer. Goel will share insights from a recent Snagajob and LinkedIn report that analyzes the companies’ respective data sets to determine patterns that reveal the best career pathways for hourly workers so employers can better understand what motivates and fulfills them.
