College student jobs

No matter how good your marks are and which Latin words are written on your diploma, employment upon graduation is never guaranteed – and many college students are finding the best way to get a good job when they finish college is to have good jobs while they’re still in college.

Employers look for initiative and drive in prospective employees. That means taking advantage of internships and jobs, especially those that relate to your career choice. It also means putting your best foot forward at job fairs and interviews, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and positive body language.

And we almost forgot – it also helps to have a few extra bucks for laundry, late-night pizza and all those parking tickets you “might” collect.

There is a lot to know when it comes to landing a job. This section provides information and resources specifically for college students so the next job you find will help you find an even better job later on.
