Student jobs
Whether you’ve just graduated from college or you’re a freshman in high school, it’s never too soon to join the working world and start earning your own paycheck. But employment is never guaranteed, whether you have a degree or not. That’s why students need to gain experience while they’re still in school so they’re more prepared when it comes time to start a career.
But getting hired when you don’t have a ton of experience can be a challenge, and it’s hard to fit a job into your schedule with school, family and friends, and other commitments like sports and clubs. That’s why it’s important to volunteer and take advantage of internship opportunities that will give you an introduction to the workforce as well as valuable skills.
We’ve talked to our employers about what they’re looking for in student workers, and how they can sell themselves to hiring managers to make the best possible impression. So check out the articles below before starting your job search, and be sure to check back frequently as we add to our library of articles on student jobs.
