Caregiver

Being a caregiver is a rewarding work opportunity that offers flexibility in your schedule and a competitive wage while making a difference in your community. Synergy HomeCare is always seeking the 'best of the best' caregivers! Around the Clock, Daily or Hourly caregivers are needed in the Lakewood, Littleton, Parker and Castle Rock areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing and feeding
• Cleans rooms and makes patient beds
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Assists in care and feeding of infants
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Ability to follow written Care Plan
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders

Job Requirements  

• Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking, and companion services
• Experience caring for a senior or the elderly not required, but highly recommended
• Ability to pass a thorough Criminal and Background Record Check
• A minimum of 2 professional references
• Have a heart for the elderly, honest, trustworthy, reliable, and patient with those in need
• Reliable transportation to a client’s home and a valid driver’s license is required
