Village Inn Line Cook/Prep Cook Job Overview

Responsible for completeing all assigned prep work and setting up cook’s and dish stations. Will maintain product presentations, product quality and cook time standards. Prepare all menu items according to Village Inn specifications. Must adhere to company standards of restaurant cleanliness in kitchen areas. 

Minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for position.

Responsibilites

  • Ensure proper supply and quality of food products and dishware to cook’s line. Complete daily prep and pars: cook or bake items needed for day’s use; prepare batters and sauces.
  • Select, wash/clean and prepare all greens, vegetables and fruits. Slice, dice and cut food.
  • Clean/organize storage locations of all products. Properly label, date, initial and rotate products
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Follow Safety and Sanitation procedures.
  • Take an active role in controlling food waste. Ensure proper food handling procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment after each use; follow proper safety and sanitation procedures. Practice clean-as-you-go theory and complete assigned daily cleaning duties.
  • Abide by Concord Hospitality, Inc. policies and procedures.
