The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store. They are responsible for promoting Customer Satisfaction by performing and monitoring specific job functions and duties:
- Training employees
- Monitoring cash levels and other safety and security issues
- Ensuring job assignments are completed correctly
- Ensuring federal, state, and local laws and regulations are enforced
- Promoting teamwork
- Monitoring age-restricted sales compliance
- Administrative duties assigned by store manager
- Assumes manager’s duties in event of managers absence
