Job Description
The Merchandiser is responsible for the daily conditions of the merchandise department by maintaining in-stock levels, implementing all schematics and promotional space as well as receiving/counting all merchandise purchase orders. Merchandiser is responsible for keeping back stock rooms organized and secured to protect company assets. Position is also responsible for building and maintaining displays including end caps, 4 ways and other promotional areas, and completing monthly marketing material surveys. Must also ensure deli equipment is properly calibrated, temperatures are maintained, makes coffee, fills ice and fountain drinks.
As a Merchandiser, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Must be able to lift 75lbs, use chemical window, shelf and floor cleaner and handle a box cutter. All employees must complete a background check and hair follicle drug testing, except where prohibited by state law.
