Job Description
Deli Managers will oversee quick service items, deli products and deli employees. Manager will work with management team to anticipate and accommodate guests’ needs by maintaining a complete knowledge of all deli items and preparing those items to Flying J’s specifications. Must maintain inventory and ensure supplies are always available. Must also establish and enforce a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule, stock storerooms and freezers, perform cleaning procedures such as sweeping, mopping, washing ceilings, and scrubbing grills.
As a Deli Manager, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Managers will be responsible for recruiting, hiring and training new deli employees.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, be around extreme temperatures; hot equipment and walk-in coolers and freezers. All employees must complete a background check and hair follicle drug testing, except where prohibited by state law.
