Warehouse Worker
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be the “magic behind the scenes”, making sure the proper parts are in stock and in perfect condition to sell to our customers. Inventory, shipping and receiving are your main responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pulls parts from appropriate bins and delivery to the staging area for loading on trucks
- Operates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about warehouse
- Loads trucks according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check off of parts loaded
- Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
- Responds to customer counter sales immediately by receiving order, pulling product and loading into the customer vehicle
- Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff
- Checks in defective parts and enters into computer system for return to vendor
- Assists with or responsible for daily cycle counting with RF scan gun
- May check in route sales associates by verifying activity summaries against miles driven, checks/cash received and returns
- Maintains orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas
Qualifications:
- Must not be afraid of heights or have any lifting restrictions
- Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels as the warehouse is not climate controlled
- Previous forklift experience with the ability to negotiate lifts in close quarters
- Ability to work in cooperation with others
- Previous cycle counting experience with RF gun is helpful
- Good attention to detail for accuracy work assignments
- Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
