Michaels, the nation’s largest retailer of arts and crafts materials, is seeking Frame Shop Department Managers.  The Frame Shop Manager will be responsible for the efficient, effective and profitable operation of the frames shop within a Michaels store while providing exceptional service to customers. This position serves as Manager on Duty when assigned. The Department Manager is also authorized to carry a perimeter key and POS management key.

You will be responsible for performing overall store management duties along with opening and closing the store when scheduled.

Minimum Age

Custom Framing Experience Necessary

  • Especially interested in people who can work nights and week-ends.
  • High school education or equivalent required with 2 years experience in retail merchandise operations from prior positions with Michaels or another retail organization.
  • Must be able to effectively and efficiently assist with managing assigned area or when Manager on Duty.
  • Must understand and have a working knowledge of cash and POS management, refunds and voids, shrinkage and margin control, security and loss prevention procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with sales associates, store management and district management.
