Michaels, the nation’s largest retailer of arts and crafts materials, is seeking Floral Design Specialists who are responsible for generating sales by designing professional, top quality floral arrangements and custom work by request from the customers. The Floral Design Specialist is also responsible for the presentation and standards of the floral arrangements and the chrome and glass displays.  Prior experience needed in areas of floral design, and working with silk and dried flowers

Job requirements

Minimum Age
18+ years old
Additional

Hours: FT

Especially interested in people who can work nights and week-ends. High school education or equivalent in order to read and write and perform basic math functions. Prior experience needed in areas of floral design, and working with silk and dried flowers preferred. Must have knowledge of basic design rules and color coordination. Strong communication skills, Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with customers, sales associates and store management. Must be approachable and able to express ideas clearly. Must have strong organizational skills.
