Michaels Customer Experience Specialist Job Overview

Michaels’ Customer Experience Specialist is enthusiastic and passionate about Creativity, People and Arts and Crafts. The Customer Experience Specialist focuses primarily on the areas of customer engagement including the Front End and Sales Floor and is responsible for ensuring that an exceptional level of customer service is experienced by each customer. The Customer Service Specialist assists the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) in supervision of the Front End, Product Knowledge Training, and Store Events.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

 

 

 

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must successfully pass background checks
  • Passionate about Michaels products
  • Prior experience or knowledge in Arts and Crafts required.
  • Requires 1 or more years of retail, supervisory and training experience.
  • Willing and able to inspire customers in use of product
  • Willing and able to be the model for extraordinary customer service and instills these values in associates.
  • Strong understanding of store operations, sales and merchandising techniques preferred.
