Essential Job Results
May include, but not limited to:
- Come prepared to work at the start of every shift. Your hair must be pulled back if it touches your shoulders and you must be wearing your name tag at all times when working. Non Slip shoes must be worn at all times in the Kitchen.
- Be aware of your surrounding.
- Know which food goes into which cooler. Utensils need to be placed in the appropriate spots.
- Be aware of food handling procedures. Must attend the food handling class.
- Need to know the proper hand washing techniques.
- Close your area properly, according to the training manual.
- Maintain proper product rotation and labeling
- Demonstrate teamwork
- Demonstrate proper use knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Be organized and have preparation skills.
- Attend all mandatory classes in the hotel.
Work Environment
- Long periods of standing
- Able to stoop and bend
- Able to lift, push and carry 40lbs from time to time
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
