Donatos Pizza, LLC Shift Manager Job Overview

The Shift Manager is responsible for Quality and Service systems in our restaurants. The Shift Manager provides training and coaching that enables store associates to produce the highest quality food and to provide friendly and honest service. Shift Managers are totally focused on delivering our MISSION and PROMISE every day, to every guest.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages the people, product and equipment related to a specific area (zone) of the restaurant.
  • Direct and coach performance standards for all workstations.
  • Models performance standards for all workstations.
  • Manages food and labor cost through effective training and coaching
  • Trains and enforces correct cash control procedures.
  • Models and enforces operating policies, such as, attendance, safety, uniform/grooming, etc.
  • Knows, enforces and educates Restaurant Associates on all applicable labor laws.
  • Properly open/closes the restaurant administratively.
  • Demonstrates and trains proper telephone/counter/table order taking.
  • Understand and follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Interact with guests enthusiastically.
  • Creates service atmosphere by treating Restaurant Associates as guest.
  • Ensures the team delivers all elements of High 5 Service to every guest.
  • Ensures all orders are delivered accurately.
  • Understands and follows correct steps in resolving guest complaints.
  • Assist guest, managers, and other associates, as needed.

 

Job requirements

Driving
Valid Driver’s License
Minimum Age
18+ years old
Additional

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity in daily decision-making.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency.
  • Actively participates in and manages self-development to achieve goals and improvement.

  • Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have at least 1-2 years prior restaurant shift management experience.
  • Must have current drivers license with clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to submit to, and pass background check screening.
