Requirements 1. Certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association as an occupational therapy assistant
2. Current and unencumbered license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant specific to that state the employee is assigned to work by the Company.
3. Current CPR certification.
4. Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
State Specific-QUALIFICATIONS
Florida State Specific: The occupational therapist assistant shall be currently licensed in the state, pursuant to Chapter 468, F.S., with one year of experience under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
Louisiana State Specific: Must be licensed and certified to assist in the practice of occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed, registered occupational therapist.
Virginia State Specific: 1. The occupational therapy assistant shall be currently certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and shall practice under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
