
Sales Lead
Responsible for both selling/servicing customers as well as supervision of hourly associates engaged in the same activities. The Lead spends 90% of his/her time on the selling floor with customers and associates, with approximately 35%-50% of his/her total time in selling/servicing customers and the remaining time supervising associates or serving staff duty. This individual will supervise a team of 10-15 hourly associates and will fully participate in the selection, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management. This individual will maintain knowledge of Sears products and use this knowledge to assist customers.
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of retail supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong selling and customer service skills
- Strong drive for results
- Coaching and development skills
- Knowledge of products and services offered
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
