Community Health Systems Central Scheduler Job Overview

Title: Central Scheduler
Location: AR-Bentonville
Primary function is to schedule patients for out-patient diagnostic testing. Physician offices will call in requested tests and the central scheduler will complete request in a timely, courteous manner.
Education:
* High School diploma or equivalent education
Licenses/Certifications:
* LPN preferred
Experience/Skills:
* Minimum of 1 year hospital/medical office experience required
* A good understanding of medical terminology required
* Knowledge of computers, and other standard office equipment required
* Minimum of 6 months customer service required
* Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute required
