Seeking experienced field technician with appliance repair background. EPA Universal or Type 1 CFC strongly preferred.
Sears technicians diagnose and repair all kitchen & laundry appliances including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, garbage disposals, washers, dryers, and other equipment while providing superior service in customer’s homes.
Sears technicians are the best equipped in the industry---you will be provided a Sears van, fuel, & laptop computer needed to do the job!
In fact, typically our technicians leave in their van from their home to the first call in the morning! We have a computer-generated routing system that enables us to maximize customer satisfaction.
Qualified candidates need to live in Peninsula area to be considered.
Qualifications:
Are you mechanically inclined? Do you like to meet people and sell things? Are you available to work on Saturdays?
Diagnoses the problem and gives the customer an estimate of the cost of repair. Completes the repair, if given approval by the customer. Uses appropriate tools and equipment in completing repairs. Courteously and accurately answers customers questions regarding repair and charge procedures. Advises customers of all promotions. Accurately records all transactions via laptop computer. Handles credit charges, checks and cash in accordance with Sears company policy. Uses appropriate security and safety procedures to protect company and customer assets. Accountable for parts inventory in the truck assigned. Accountable for tool inventory assigned. Drives safely and keeps vehicle clean. Manages time effectively. Explains needed repair fully to customer. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Sells preventative maintenance product extensions and maintenance agreements to customer.
Electrical background a must.
Valid drivers license required with good driving record.
Minimum 1 year residential or commerical appliance repair experience required.
