Assisted Sales/Training Representative

Job Overview:

The Assisted Sales Representative is responsible for all aspects of in-store and event sales support including but not limited to training by demonstration, consumer direct selling, merchandising, demonstration and special events. The goal of assisted sales program is to ultimately increase sales for clients.

Duties:

  • Proactively engages with consumers.
  • Promotes brand and product awareness with enthusiasm.
  • Conducts sales events.
  • Trains retail staff on products, messaging, sales enabling skills, promotions.
  • Identifies sales opportunities at store level (i.e. reads ads, works with store to note inventory issues, traffic awareness, etc.)
  • with merchandising team to get 100% compliance for all event stores prior to an event taking place.
  • Places approved signage and identifies additional signage opportunities.
  • Works direct with store management and associates to schedule and insure manager on duty is aware of activities being performed
  • Close sales by turning the consumer over to a retail sales associate for final sale.
  • Insures store selling area is neat and clean.

Position Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 months training and/or sales retail experience.
  • Prior proven sales ability is preferred.
  • Internet access for daily web based reporting and e-mail communication.
  • Must have access to printer for printing instructions, etc.
  • Representatives must be willing to drive throughout the market on a regular basis and have reliable transportation to do so. Store locations will change throughout programs however remain in the market hired for within 60 miles.
  • Must work weekends ( Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday days – all day)
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours per shift
  • Be computer literate with knowledge of PDF files, JPEG files, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Be retail sales savvy and be able to demonstrate this by reporting sales successes.
  • Ability to work without constant supervision.
  • Have a good base knowledge of the category in which you will be working (Ex: TV, digital imaging).
  • Be a forward thinker and good problem solver going above and beyond the requests of the Client.
  • Be professional and presentable.
