Retail Parts Specialist

Advance Auto Parts is a Fortune 500 company with over 75 years as an aftermarket automotive retailer.

We are currently interviewing for a Retail Parts Specialist to support our rapidly growing Company. You will be joining a successful Sales team that is well trained, motivated, and focused on providing a Superior Customer Experience. We are looking for an energetic, professional individual with sales and/or automotive aftermarket experience to enhance our Sales Team in achieving impressive business results.

Job Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated history of obtaining new business and retaining current customer base 2
  2. This position has the freedom and responsibility to create new business and should work to become known as "the person" in that town for retail customers to deal with.
  3. Provide support to ensure ongoing account management and follow-through to meet customer expectations.
  4. Proven Track Record of analyzing data, developing strategic plans, and improving financial results
  5. Excellent communication skills and competitive drive
  6. Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus
  7. Prior Automotive Experience

Education/Licenses Requirements:

  1. High School diploma and/or GED
  2. Valid Drivers License and ability to meet our MVR Requirements
  3. We strongly recommend ASE certified candidates to apply

Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School diploma and/ or GED
  • Should have prior automotive experience, minimum of 5 years, demonstrate parts knowledge and have diagnostic ability to include: internal engines, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust and all other related automobile systems.
  • Must be well mannered, neat in appearance and posses the ability to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner.
  • ASE Parts Certification will be required with-in two (2) testing periods
  • Must submit to pre-employment drug testing (November 1, 1994) in accordance with the appropriate state provisions.
