Decorating Installer

JCPenney’s Custom Decorating Department offers customers one-on-one custom window covering consultations, allowing our decorating professionals to customize our home merchandise to fit customers’ needs.

Custom Decorating Installer - Skilled support for installation of drapery and related decorator items. Install custom window products to customer’s complete satisfaction.

Installs custom draperies and related decorator items within schedule and to the standards of specified workmanship. Installing all window and wall treatments.

Job requirements

Additional
Basic Knowledge:
  • Requires ability to initiate reports, use of basic communication skills and/or arithmetic involving calculation of fractions.
  • Knowledge of carpentry tools.
  • Familiarity with the installation of draperies and related decoration items.
  • Must posssess valid licenses when required by law.
           
Previous Experience:
  • Six (6) months experience in the same or related tasks is preferable.
