Our General Service Technician provides general services for vehicle maintenance and repair, such as oil changes, tire rotation and replacement, etc., and does so in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. Under the guidance of an Experienced Technician, assists in vehicle repairs. Operates vehicles in a safe and responsible manner and interacts with customers in a courteous and friendly manner. Assists in maintaining shop appearance and safety standards and in ensuring the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions. Adheres to all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules

Requirements

• Some experience in vehicle maintenance and minor repairs, including the use of appropriate power tools.
• Must be able to obtain state inspectors license.
• Some or limited training in automotive repair, with demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further in this area.
• Ability to receive instruction and to follow rules and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical Degree a definite plus.
