Warehouse Inventory Control

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring inventory control processes and quality control initiatives are accurately followed and reported.  Conducts audits, physical inventory, data entry, and report generation.  Works closely with Client Services group.

 

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for understanding all processes in operations/fulfillment to ensure quality fulfillment services
  • Perform cycle counts as scheduled or as requested by client
  • Perform physical inventory as scheduled or as requested by client
  • Report, reconcile and research  Inventory discrepancy issues
  • Verify system SKU, description, location, and label
  • Monitor receiving, stocking, picking, kitting, shipping and inventory transaction processes for compliance
  • Responsible for the keying and verifying of inventory and system updates
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records
  • Perform the Delete/Damage material processes as requested by the client
  • Ensure ISO quality is achieved Correctly, Efficiently, and On-Time (CEO)
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Respectful and non-threatening treatment of other
  • All other duties as assigned
  • 1st and 2nd shifts
  • Pay Rate $11.00 - $12.00 per hour based on experience

 

Job Requirements 

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent preferred
  • 3 years combined warehouse/inventory control experience
  • PC skills including Excel and Word
  • Excellent math, reading, communication (both verbal and written), and problem solving skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Systems preferred
  • Sound judgment and decision making skills
  • Forklift certification may be required
  • Ability to lift/move up to 45 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment
  • Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
