Bartender's Expectations

• Personal Standards
  • Uniform clean and nicely pressed
  • Has all accessories (waiter pad, lighter, pen, wine key)
  • Shoes: Non slip, black, polished dress shoes
  • Punctual: not late, always on time.
• Product Knowledge
  
            - Menu
   
  • Able to give recommendations
  • Knows our product
  • Talks about menu items so that the guest wants to buy them (able to describe them while  making their mouth  
  • water)
    
    - Wine
     
  •  Gives recommendations based on the guests tastes
  •   Describes wine to guest
  •   Continually learns about wines
  •   Knows grapes, regions, years
    
     - Liquor
  • Able to recommend drinks
  • Knows the liquors on stock
  • Ability to make cocktails (including signature)
    
    - Sales
     
  • Able to suggestively offer additional items to guest (upsell)
     
• Guest Relations
  
             - Interacts well with Guests
