The Hampton Inn Atlanta North Druid Hills Road is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Guest Room Attendant. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of previous experience as a Guest Room Attendant.  Hotel experience preferred.

Major Responsibilities

  • Empowered to guarantee guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing JHM Hotels professionally with our guests and assuring that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as the local area to effectively assist guests.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company associates to foster and promote a positive working environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Knows and follows established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for guest rooms according to JHM Hotels’ or Brand Standards.
  • Required to clean up to 16 rooms a day.
  • Assists colleagues when own workstation is completed.
  • Properly using all cleaning fluids and supplies.
  • Properly places guest amenities, e.g., toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories and turndown amenities.
  • Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.
  • Knows and actively practices the hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.
  • Makes beds (triple sheeting) with clean sheets in excellent condition and dusts furniture.
  • Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
  • Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets.
  • Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies. Sweeps and scrubs bathroom floor.
  • Replaces light bulbs.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others.
  • Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, when requested
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Stocks and replenishes linen rooms if necessary.
  • Sweeps patios/balconies and ensures cobwebs are removed.
