About this job
Ability to problem-solve and use multiple resources in the form of system reports, files, and general process knowledge. The following skills apply:
• Ability to complete all necessary airline system functions using a PC/laptop/tablet
• Ability to read airway bills, manifests, spreadsheets and other written information
• Able to understand and operate customer airline computer system
• General knowledge of full-warehouse processes
• Comprehension of customer needs with respect to operational constants, in particular:
o safety
o loading limitations
o UA requirements
o general dangerous goods knowledge
o foreign destination limitations
o CBP/TSA/FAA misc governmental regulatory bodies requirements
• Work in a time sensitive environment with hard dead lines
• Able to work in a warehouse environment around material such as nets, plastic, ropes, straps, skids, etc
• Able to take verbal and written instructions from an office lead or supervisor
• Able and willing to work with others to solve a common goal
• Able to create basic reports about inventories, manifests and other types of cargo reports.
• Comfortable and able to communicate effectively through various modes
