Maintenance Electrician

Spartan Staffing is currently seeking candidates for a temp-to-hire Maintenance Electrician position with a facility located in Bremen, IN. This company is the market leader in loose needle and needle bearing manufacturing. Employees will be responsible for keeping plant machinery and building operational with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime. This is a Second shift position working Monday – Friday. Pay rate ranges from $19-$22 per hour. A period of training on 1st shift will occur for 1-2 weeks.

Job Duties:

- Set-up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment

- Analyze mechanical and operational problems with PLC's on equipment and make necessary repairs and corrections to maintain maximum production and quality

- Keep plant equipment and work area clean and organized maintaining safety standards as directed by the company and government regulation

- Operate Wastewater Treatment System – this function is carried out by designated maintenance personnel

- Process paperwork related to work assignments



Qualified candidates must:

- Have advanced education/training and experience in electrical maintenance. Certification, licensing and/or degree strongly recommended

- Have electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting knowledge

- Be proficient in the use of general hand tools, head sensing devices, power tools, electronic meters, pressure testing devices, welding and air tools.

- Be able to lift, stand, bend, stoop, throughout entire shift

- Be able to work in extreme temperatures – both heat and cold

- Experience in use of laptop computer for PLC analysis
