Job Description ¡V BAKERY CHEF

  • The BAKERY CHEF contributes to Dania Management Group success by ensuring our guest service and restaurant standards around bakery are met. This is done by providing guests with excellent product as well as the service require. This job also performs additional responsibilities needed to help the restaurant manager and assistant manager, such as, maximizing financial results and directing the crew. The BAKERY CHEF needs to make certain that all guests will experience a friendly, fast, and clean atmosphere around their area of expertise, which includes, Sandwich Station, Retail Bakery Production, and Product Sampling.

KEY BAKERY CHEF CONTRIBUTIONS

I. Develops Satisfied Guests

  • Welcomes and connects with every guest.
  • Takes care of guest's needs and suggestive sell or up sell in all bakery products to meet sells goals
  • Offers guests samples from time to time.
  • Always departs from guest by saying "thank you" see you tomorrow¨ to every guest.

II. Provides Quality Product Consistently

  • Develops and directs employees to deliver Dunkin¡¦ Brands products to standard.
  • Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

III. Maintains Quality Restaurant Operations

  • Follows and directs others to follow restaurant policies and procedures ¡§team service¡¨ for speed of service requirements.
  • Follows and directs others to follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and stocking of products.
  • Performs and directs others to follow cleaning tasks.
  • Assists in restaurant scheduling by providing input on staffing requirements to meet optimal labor standards.
  • Presents oneself as a Leader and demonstrates clear communication to all employees and guests.

IV. Contributes to Restaurant's Potential Profitability

  • Follows inventory stocking and recording (danger zone book) bakery guidelines.
  • Follows product making procedures.
  • Assists restaurant manager and assistant manager with daily record keeping.

V. Takes Responsibility to Learn All Aspects of the BAKERY CHEF Position in conjunction with PERFORMANCE STANDARD for mentioned position

  • Is responsible for self-initiated learning.
  • Acts as a role model while providing guidance and training to restaurant employees. .
  • Demonstrates and ensures all DMG policies and procedures are followed.
  • May participate in interviews and performance reviews.
  • Communicates restaurant and employee concerns to the restaurant manager or assistant manager in an effective manner.
