Team Lead - Industrial Cleaners

Spartan Staffing has an immediate need for a Team Leader (industrial cleaners) in Smyrna, TN, for MacLellan on site at Nissan. This position requires a flexible work schedules to include weekends/evenings/holidays. This is a temporary to hire position paying $12 -$13/hr.

Job Duties:

Leads, inspires & guides team in performance of tasks in a safe, cooperative & team manner.

Actively participates in continuous improvement by making suggestions.

Actively participates in personal and team learning to improve daily performance.

All other duties as assigned by Team Leader such as cleaning paint booths, walls, floors.

Leads employees and is responsible for assisting with the direction and coordination, as well as the safety of these personnel.

Responsibilities include training and mentoring employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assisting in appraisal performance; rewarding and disciplining of employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualified Candidates Must:

Have ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend at waist, stoop,

Be able to work in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate to high), walk extended distances, ascend/descend inclines, declines, including stairs and ladders.  Work Environment: The environment is typical of an industrial / plant environment. 

Be able to work a flexible schedule on including weekends, evenings and holidays

Have prior work experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting in a leadership role
