Cashier - Full-time / Part-time

Our cashiers give our guests the first impression of our store and shows appreciation to our guests as they leave. A Gatti’s cashier should have excellent communication skills, a passion to help others and the drive to make our team successful.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets every customer as they enter and thanks every customer as they leave
• Accurately takes walk-in and to go orders in an accurate, timely fashion
• Communicate with guests making them feel welcome
• Have full knowledge of our menu and upsell company promotions
• Must answer the phone is a prompt, professional manner
• Communicate with other areas of the store regarding guest’s needs and other areas of concern
• Ensures that front of house is cleaned throughout the shift
• Assists other team members as business and time allows
• Is responsible for the reconciliation of any monies from their tills

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must be able to work in an environment with kids.
• Must be friendly and able to smile frequently.
• Family Entertainment, restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred.
• Strong math and verbal skills needed.
• Dress in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.
• Must be able to communicate to other employees and guests efficiently and effectively.
• Must be skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and calling issues to manager's attention.
• Must be smiling, energetic and service minded.
• Self-motivated, can work fast paced alone or with a team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time without a break (3-4 hours).
• Pushing and pulling required for cleaning responsibilities, as needed.
• Regular, moderately heavy (5-30 lbs.) lifting and carrying.
• Bending and reaching is required.
