Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and working at a variety of client locations from apartments to commercial properties, churches and schools.

The Project Manager will effectively organize and schedule resources to meet the demands of multiple customers – from insurance agents and adjusters, to homeowners and property managers.

Select Responsibilities:

Oversee a segment of our restoration company in smoke/fire damages and general cleaning creating lasting impressions with our customers that elevates us above our competition.

Visit customer locations to inspect properties and provide estimates for restoration/cleaning services with a sense of integrity and attention to profitability.

Manage, train and develop a diverse team of employees with a focus on continual education. 

Enhance the overall operation and efficiency of the business.

Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through ongoing training and supervision of employees.  Be knowledgeable about OSHA and other safety-related requirements and regulations.

Document all information pertaining to jobs in Chronicle and insurance programs on an ongoing basis.  Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.  Make sure insurance guidelines are discussed and appropriate documentation and authorizations are complete before work commences.

Develop sufficient understanding of water department to lend leadership support as needed.

As a 24 hour, 365 days a year business you must be comfortable with your services being required any time day or night.

Requirements:

Prior Management Experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with a diverse group of employees and customers

Able to build successful relationships with adjusters and agents to enhance the growth and visibility of the company in the marketplace

Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills

Computer skills – Email, Word, Excel desired

Must be organized and detail-oriented

Able to respond quickly to a changing environment

Willingness to be flexible and take on new assignments and challenges as needed

Able to travel, often with little advance notice

Must be able to participate in regular (often monthly, sometimes more) on call schedule

Experience with Xactimate or similar claims estimating software a plus

A positive, “can do!”” attitude

Construction background/experience a plus

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
