Recognized as one of America's fastest growing staffing firms, SMX Staffing, a leading provider of staffing solutions for Fortune 500 companies, seeks an experienced Account Supervisor to work at our client's busy facility in Homerville, GA. For this position, we prefer that you have experience handling HR related issues in a manufacturing/production environment and have strong client relations skills.

The Account Supervisor, a full time/permanent position with SMX Staffing, will be interacting with employees in the manufacturing department. Most of your time will be spent on the production floor; managing, coaching and monitoring our employees' performance, attendance and safety.

As the Account Supervisor you will typically work during the 2nd shift Monday – Friday from 2pm to 9pm with some Saturday coverage, depending on the client’s needs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Account Manager with maintaining a highly motivated team.
  • Provide immediate front line customer service to management team, associate and clients.
  • Manage weekly schedules for all employees.
  • Participates in our Clients meetings.
  • Make associate hiring and firing decisions.
  • Handle order requests and changes from client contacts.
  • Handle associate relations activities, communications, and investigations.
  • Handle Safety inspections.
  • Work on special projects and performance incentive programs to help meet operational goals.
  • Maintain time clock database up-to-date in order to process payroll.
  • Assist with reports by using MS Office applications.
  • Assist the Account Manager with recruiting activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
  • Experience with HR processes (recruiting, hiring, firing, workers comp and payroll) in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Experience with Safety Inspections and Accident Investigations preferred, but not required.
  • Computer Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word).
  • Strong Customer Service and Client Relations."
