A Kent/Avis Lube Assistant Manager should be a goal-oriented individual and strive to have all the qualifications of a store manager. An assistant manager should assist the manager in all aspects of the store operations including team development and guest service.
OPERATIONS:
An assistant manager will be responsible for all tasks assigned including:
- Being thoroughly trained and proficient in all service positions including additional services
- Maintaining shop and equipment appearance and functionality
- Inventory ordering, receiving, audits and promotions
- Accurately inputting data relating to vehicle services into the computer system
- Following all safety procedures in accordance with company policy
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations including training, motivating, and controlling all team members
- Producing all necessary reports accurately and timely
- Properly operate all aspects of Kent/Avis Lube in the Manager’s absence
PERSONNEL:
As assistant manager is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner, maintain good personal hygiene, and strictly adhere to company dress code. They are also jointly responsible for the appearance, conduct, guest service, and continual training of the team in their location.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
An Assistant Manager must be able to climb ladders; must be able to work up to 10 hours outside and underneath vehicles, while reaching overhead and looking up; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a routine basis; must be able to twist and bend 75% of the time; must be able to work around running vehicles; must be able to communicate effectively with fellow team members and customers verbally. An assistant manager is expected to be actively involved in the operation of Kent/Avis Lube and have the desire to help the shop succeed in achieving stated goals and assisting customers in any way possible.
