We are a one of a kind exclusive cats only boarding, grooming, and in-home cat-sitting facility that has been in business since 1995. We are dedicated to providing the upmost care to each one of our kitty guests by providing them with a cozy, warm, and clean and fun environment, and most importantly lots of TLC. Part time & Seasonal Kennel Assistant positions currently available:
Kennel Assistant duties include:
~ Feeding and caring for the cats, with detailed cleaning of their suites and our 6 playrooms.
~ Light front office work that includes excellent customer service skills and answering phones sometimes.
~ Giving lots of TLC to our kitty guests.
~ Must be available between 8:00am to 7:00pm weekday shifts - at least 3 days a week. Shifts average 4-6 hours each but please be prepared to work an 8 hour shift if need be, plus some weekends and holidays for a total average week of 20 to 25 for part time employees. Weekday hours INCREASE during our seasonal and summer months which are right now :)
~ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (litter bags). This is a very physically demanding job.
~ Computer proficient in Microsoft Office preferred but not a must, strongly prefer good written and verbal communication skills.
~ Must have internet access and be able to check email daily.
~ Live locally, and have reliable transportation.
~ Must be reliable with being on time and ready for every shift with a cheerful attitude.
~ Most importantly you MUST LOVE cats and like people since you'll be working with both :).
Our compensation is competitive and our aggressive pay escalations are based on your work performance. This is a part time position; compensation includes hourly wages plus customer tips and company bonuses.
