Spartan Staffing is currently seeking candidates for part to full time Cabinet Maker/Installer Manager positions with a company located in Valparaiso, IN. This company is a builder of custom casework, cabinets, counter tops and reception desks. Employees will be responsible for project management, field repair and installation. Openings are available on a part to full time basis. Starting pay rate depends upon prior experience.
Job Duties:
- Meet with client to assess project needs
- Determine if the project requires shop build components and/or field repairs
- Create a list of shop built components and materials needed to complete the job
- Take field measurements
- Create rough drawing of components to be constructed in shop
- Assess time required to complete projects
- Report to management what was determined and needed to complete project
- Install and/or repair components on site
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must:
- Have 5 years of experience working with all facets (installation/manufacturing) of plastic laminate fixtures – wood working knowledge is a plus
- Have working knowledge of all necessary hand and power tools
- Have commercial, institutional and residential installation/repair experience
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
