Assembler

Spartan Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for Production Line - Assembler positions in Mason City, IA. Our customer is looking for assembly line workers that can assemble wood products. This is a Temp to Hire position on 1st shift, 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday –Friday. The pay rate is $12.00 per hour.

Job Duties:

- Assemble various types and sizes of wood products

- Working wit routers, skill saw, planner, and small electric tools

- Flexibility to assist with various duties and General Cleanup of job site

  Job Requirements:

 Qualified candidates MUST have the following:

- High School diploma/GED preferred but not required

 -  Dependable transportation is preferred but not essential. excellent attendance required

- Ability to demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn new task quickly, Pays attention to details

- Values a teamwork environment and has an up beat personality, respects authority

- Physically fit able to use hands to grip and twist, stand, bend, reach and lift 50 lbs continuously during 8+ hour shift in fast pace environment

- Safety conscious must wear appropriate safety equipment ( steel toe boots and safety glasses,)

- no jewelry allowed, no metal objects ( belt buckles, metal buttons etc.) on or near production line.

- Submit to a Criminal Background Check

- Submit to a Drug Screen
