Qualifications:
o Ability to relate positively with young children
o Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience
o Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
o Must be able to lift 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a class of children
o Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
o Provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision making by the children
o Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using Primrose curriculum and materials
o Provides the children with verbal phrases and acceptance while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior
o Maintains the Primrose professional attitude and work behavior
