We are looking for Patient Registration Financial Counselors to provide a comprehensive set of business, financial, and appointment related services. You will be cross-trained to staff all areas of Patient Access at any Cleveland Clinic facility, including but not limited to front desk, admitting office, ER registration, cashier, pre-registration, verification, pre-certification, scheduling and financial counseling. This position will also identify and utilize appropriate reports to contact insurance payers for resolution to accounts that are pending, denied or in the appeal process. We have full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities available!
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelors degree preferred, experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Two years of experience in patient access and/or patient accounting or minimum of 3 years of customer service interacting with the public by telephone or in person in a similar role or capacity
