COOK:
DEFINITION-
To serve the customer by providing them with a superior food product and quick, friendly, and superior service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following.
1. Assembling menu items
2. Prepping all food items
3. Packaging the menu items
4. Portion control
5. Proper holding and storage of all food items
6. Taking out the trash
7. Assisting in front-of-house operations as necessary
8. Unpacking and storing incoming inventory orders
9. Reporting to management when equipment is malfunctioning
10. Cleaning the kitchen and storage areas
11. Cleaning and maintaining equipment
STANDARD HOURS-
Varies according to shift.
Non-exempt from overtime.
QUALIFICATIONS-
1. Eager to work

4. Able to follow procedures and recipes as specified
5. Good motor skills
6. Capacity to concentrate on more than one thing at a time
7. Attention to detail
8. Good common sense
9. Ability to carry heavy items, such as 30lb bags of produce

12. Sharp listening skills
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-
1. Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
- Walking or standing for extended periods of time
- Lifting a minimum of 50lbs. over head repeatedly throughout the workday
2. Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:
- Maintaining presence of mind to follow all safe working habits and procedures
- Making observations
- Communicating with others
- Reading and writing


CASHIER
DEFINITION-
To serve the customer by creating encore experiences to ensure complete satisfaction through quick, friendly, and superior service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following.
1. Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all customers
2. Explain menu and answer product questions as raised by customers
3. Take customers orders accurately
4. Relay the order to the kitchen staff
5. Accept payment from customers and make correct change
6. Operate the POS terminal and be responsible for cash receipts
7. Present order to customers, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniments and utensils
8. Thank each customer for their business
9. Generate additional sales whenever possible by suggesting additional menu items to the customer
10. Count the change bank in register at the beginning of each shift
11. Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc for serving customers.
12. Prep drinks and assist in kitchen prep of items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc.

CLEANING IS ALWAYS A PART OF CASHIERS RESPONSIBILITIES
