Human Resources Generalist-Manager

We are partnered with one of our premium clients on a ASAP search for a HR Manager for their Jacksonville, FL headquarters.  This is a permanent position that will go immediately on our clients payroll upon hire.  Qualified candidates will be able to start work immediately. 
 

This position will administer and manage all aspects of the Human Resource component in this 75-100 person company.   The position requires a qualified person who interacts with supervisory and hourly personnel in a pro-active manner and provides support for the goals of the creative and production operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Processes payroll in ADP
• Recruit, interview and select employees to fill vacant positions
• Coordinate new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
• Administer employee benefits including life, health, dental and disability insurance, worker’s compensation, 401(k) profit sharing plan; unemployment insurance, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of governmental regulations related to Human Resourcetain personnel records for all employees.
• Performance Management Process
• Management and legal compliance to Employment and Labor Law regulations

Qualifications:

• Five years experience in human resources related field; 3 years skilled in managing the HR function in a growing company.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of governmental regulations related to Human Resource Management and legal compliance to Employment and Labor Law regulations
• Knowledge of State and Federal compliance requirements such as EEOC, NLRB, CRC, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.
• Ability to work closely with ownership, Sr. leadership and staff.  

This position is a high priority ASAP situation.  Ideally, first interviews will be taking place on Friday, 8/2, Saturday, 8/3 or  Sunday, 8/4 to expedite an interview with our client on Monday, 8/5.
