Laundry Attendant Part Time
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and visual appeal of all linens and terry as well as ensuring that all laundry procedures comply with company standards.
*Duties and Responsibilities will include:
*Treating, Sorting, Washing, Drying, Folding all linens and terry
*Washing and Folding in a timely manner
*Assisting Housekeeping Manager
*Ensuring stock of all laundry cleaning supplies
*Keeping adequate count on all linens/assisting housekeeping manager with proper documentation of weekly inventories
*Properly documenting all linen discards and damages
*Working with management team in proper stain treatment techniques.
*Stocking all housekeeping carts with proper linens daily
Reporting any facility damages or necessary repairs in a timely fashion
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Experience:
Previous hotel laundry experience preferred; Should possess great customer service skills and the ability to interact with the rest of the hotel staff and guests in a friendly and service oriented manner.
Physical:
Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weight on a daily basis. Must be able to be on his or her feet for prolonged periods of time.
