Front of the House/Back of the House - Full-time / Part-time

Team Member Job Description: Tom & Eddie’s is looking for applicants who seek employment in foodservice. Tom & Eddie’s is a burgeoning, 5-unit fast casual restaurant based in Chicago and specialize in chef-created burgers, fresh-cut fries and milkshakes. We pride ourselves in providing our guests with great tasting food and hospitality.

Front of the House Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter orders into our POS system
• Mix milkshakes
• Serve food to guests
• Bus and clean tables
• General side work and cleaning

Front of the House Qualifications:

• An easy smile and the confidence to look guest in the eye
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English
• A love of great tasting food and a commitment to providing it to our guests
• A desire to provide a high level of customer service and hospitality
• A desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Basic computer skills a plus but not required

Back of the House Responsibilities:

• Cook proteins on a griddle
• Assemble sandwiches and salads
• Cook fries, chips and onion rings
• Expedite and plate meals
• Food preparation
• General cleaning and closing
• Dishwashing

Back of the House Qualifications:

• Culinary skills a plus but not required
• Line cook experience a plus but not required
• A desire to learn or adapt to our processes and procedures
• A love of great tasting food and a commitment to providing it to our guests
• A desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills

Working Environment

• On your feet for 3-8 hours per day
